What is the best restaurant in Krasnaya Polyana? I get asked this question very often. More often they only ask where you should definitely go and what to see in Polyana. And if I give a comprehensive answer to this question in the following articles:

The question about restaurants caused me confusion. Because each case and each company will have its own recommendation. And in general, we have so many of these restaurants here that it’s difficult to single out just one, the very best... Again: some establishments are closing, others are opening. In addition, the price categories of all establishments are different.

That’s why I took up such an “exciting” activity - compiling a catalog of popular and necessary establishments for tourists in Krasnaya Polyana: restaurants, cafes, shops, rental points, etc.

Rosa Khutor Resort

Restaurant "Cho Kharcho"

Directly opposite McDonald's there is an establishment called “What? Kharcho!”, where everyone will find their favorite dishes: delicious soup or golden-brown chicken cutlets, fish, dumplings. As well as traditional Caucasian khinkali, juicy lula kebabs and aromatic shish kebab.

Restaurant "Pear Old Boys"

In the Mountain Olympic Village, at an altitude of 1170 m above sea level, there is a warm and cozy restaurant-bar “Pear”. A very friendly place where the food is delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. There is no pathos here, everything is very casual. This is a suitable place for large companies, families with children and young couples. Musicians regularly perform here, DJs play their sets, and interesting master classes are held.

The name of the restaurant “Grusha” was not chosen by chance. The Circassian pear, along with the chestnut or fern, is rightfully the hallmark of the region. Therefore, thanks to the chef, the restaurant menu contains original dishes that include this fruit.

Local products, a menu for every taste, signature burgers and knuckle from Old Boys, home-produced craft beer, desserts from the pastry chef and a pleasant atmosphere - this is a suitable place for both large companies and families with children and young couples.

In addition, there is a wide list of Russian wines from the best winemakers of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea.

In good weather, here you can bask in the sun, or even have lunch, on the equipped terrace with a magnificent view of the mountains.

Restaurant Luciano

You can have a nice sit near the Town Hall on Rosa Khutor at the Luciano restaurant. If you are a fan of Italian and European cuisine in general, you will like it here. Delicious coffee, a cozy summer terrace with comfortable sun loungers and a beautiful view of the mountains - everything here is conducive to a pleasant stay.

Prices are moderate (500 -1000 rubles per person). The service is quite fast.

Red Fox Restaurant

Follow Me Cafe

Don’t be confused by the word “cafe” in the name of this establishment - this is a real restaurant with an appropriate price level (1500 - 2000 rubles per person), an interesting interior, an unusual combination of European and Pan-Asian cuisine, as well as signature night parties with sets from the best DJs.

The menu includes Mediterranean salads, grilled meat delicacies, popular Mexican snacks, American fresh burgers, as well as delicious traditional desserts prepared in our own confectionery shop. Follow Me Cafe's bar menu includes both traditional alcoholic drinks and mixes, as well as a huge selection of signature signature cocktails, long drinks and shots. There is a dance floor. Sporting events are broadcast.

Krasnaya Polyana cafe and tasting complex

This establishment will attract the attention primarily of those who like to drink, but who also don’t mind having a hearty snack. Here you can get acquainted with local Krasnopolyansk alcoholic products and buy a bottle or two for souvenirs.

The tasting complex presents alcoholic drinks infused with mountain herbs, fruits and honey from Krasnaya Polyana, Abkhazia. All products - wine, tinctures, balms and aperitifs - are made exclusively from natural raw materials without the use of artificial flavors and dyes.

The average bill is 700-1500 rubles. Location: Rosa Dolina (560 m), Panorama embankment, emb. Panorama no. 2, Tulip Inn Rosa Khutor 3* hotel, entrance from the embankment.

Restaurant Cascade

This restaurant does not geographically belong to the Rosa Khutor resort, or any other resort, but is located exactly in the middle between all the resorts, but not far from the Rosa Khutor railway station. That's why I brought it here.

So, the Cascade restaurant. Even one look at the beautiful area with gazebos, bridges, waterfalls and a boat in the canal is enough to make you want to stay here.

In this place you will be pleased with all types of kebabs (meat, fish, vegetables), and, according to guests, the best khachapuri in Polyana is baked here. The prices are quite reasonable, the waiters are efficient.

Gorki Gorod Resort

The resort is replete with numerous establishments where you can eat delicious food. On the main promenade, your eyes will run wild from the restaurant signs, and the aromas will be more appetizing than the other.

Restaurant MEDORA

This restaurant is located a 2-minute walk from the lower station of the main cable car. The menu includes dishes of modern Russian cuisine, as well as a large selection of seafood. There is a hookah. You can watch sports broadcasts. These are the advantages.

Of the minuses: a little dark interior (however, not for everyone), and... expensive here, damn it! The average bill is from 2000 rubles. But I had tourists who even left 5,000 per brother here... So, if show-off is not more expensive than money, you can find a cheaper and more interesting place to hang out in Gorki Gorod.

Tavern "Sirtaki"

Enjoying food, music, dancing, and life itself - this is what Greece is all about! I love this country for its beauty and hospitality, as well as the ability to make an amazing dish from simple ingredients. The philosophy of this country is reflected in the sirtaki dance.

The Sirtaki tavern is a piece of sunny Greece in the Gorki Gorod resort. Here you will be fed deliciously and cheaper than in other establishments of the same level (the average bill is about 1000 rubles). What’s nice is that there is a special children’s menu.

Portions are decent. The staff is very nice and friendly. In general, be sure to spend one evening at this tavern - good memories are guaranteed.

Restaurant RIDER BAR

Since this establishment is located right next to our sales office, I have had the chance to taste the local cuisine more than once. In general, this establishment is ideal both for relaxing with a large group of friends and for a family dinner with children. The spacious summer veranda offers a picturesque view of the mountains.

The menu includes fish and seafood dishes, steaks, pasta, salads, appetizers, first courses, burgers and home-made signature desserts. There is a children's menu, as well as special offers and discounts for regular guests and tourist groups.

Again, the word “bar” in the name should not confuse you. The thing is that the restaurant is located right next to the cable car, and therefore this word should attract the attention of the public, tired of skiing, who wants to quickly eat and drink something. And the selection of drinks here is impressive: branded fruit and berry liqueurs, more than 10 types of mulled wine, beer, cocktails...

Oh yes! And this establishment also has a professional hookah. I haven’t tried it myself (because I’m a convinced supporter of a healthy lifestyle), but the reviews from friends were only positive.

Restaurant PETERSBURG

This restaurant is located right next to the previous establishment and also deserves close attention

The menu combines Russian and Italian dishes. Dishes of Russian cuisine: royal fish soup, delicate pies, dumplings, baked fish, fried mushrooms and magical Guryev porridge, which takes more than 4 hours to cook and simmers over a live fire. Connoisseurs of European dishes will find in our menu Italian pizza from a wood-fired oven, all kinds of pastas and riszoto, stewed steaks, the French dessert Macorons, as well as noble wines of Tuscany, Spain, and Chile.

Among the advantages of the restaurant:

Restaurant "Guests"

It’s simply impossible to pass by - there’s a cute green bear next to the restaurant. It is very pleasant to sit on the open terrace in the evening and watch the sunset.

Pros of the restaurant: home cooking; also on the menu - Caucasian, European, Italian dishes; extensive bar menu. Cons: prices are above average. (the average bill is approximately 1,500 rubles), and in the evening they can serve for quite a long time...

Resort guests staying in apartments and hotels of the Gorki chain at elevation +540 m can use the Room Service - 24-hour restaurant room service. Delivery of food and drinks is carried out according to the menu. Delivery will cost 200 rubles.

Mussels Restaurant – Mussels & Wine

The restaurant is located right next to the lower cable car station, in the building of the Gorki Plaza hotel, so finding it will not be difficult.

Guests will be pleased with a large selection of seafood dishes that will surely surprise not only with their taste, but also with their appearance: the most delicate Moroccan octopus carpaccio, Black Sea mullet, fried shrimp with herbs, and, of course, culinary experiments with mussels in the leading role. The restaurant's signature cuisine is highlighted by a huge selection of wines from different parts of the world.

The special atmosphere of the restaurant is created not only by delicious food, but also by many creative events: art dinners and art breakfasts, master classes, concerts and show programs. Summer veranda, karaoke, live music - all this can also be attributed to the advantages of the establishment.

The average bill is 1,500 rubles. per person

Restaurant Verona Gorky

Fans of Italian pasta and pizza - this is the place for you! Although in general the cuisine is European.

Very nice place, good and fast service, comfortable tables outside overlooking the cable car and the mountains.

A nice bonus - FREE KARAOKE! Sing as much as your heart desires))) For an evening visit to sing/drink/eat/hang out with friends, this is just the thing!

The establishment has very reasonable prices (800 -1200 rubles per person).

Restaurant-bar "PEOPLE"

Meat eaters, come here! The basis of the menu of this establishment consists of carefully selected signature meat dishes, one of which is “Prime” category steaks cooked in the oven. But meat is not only beef, but also lamb, pork, poultry... So you won’t leave hungry: everything will be well-fed!

The general atmosphere created from such decorative elements as natural wood, glass, copper, leather framed by soft light is also captivating... This is an ideal place for a pre-party. Musical recipes from DJ Sochi on Fridays and Saturdays will help you tune in to the right wave. This also includes a bar, where you will find a large selection of drinks from your favorite alcoholic hits to signature cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Good service also leaves a pleasant impression. After all, many, even expensive establishments in Krasnaya Polyana, also suffer, unfortunately, from sluggish “Rassey” service.

Restaurant Pkhali-Khinkali

This establishment is very conveniently located right opposite the exit from the Mountain Carousel ski lift. No matter how much I pass by, there are always people at the tables. Perhaps precisely because the prices are more affordable than in neighboring restaurants.

Cuisine - Eastern European, Armenian, Georgian. You can also find bad reviews about the level of cuisine and service. and good ones. Personally, during my visit there, I was satisfied with everything: the dishes were prepared well, the portions were quite large, and the waiters worked quite well.

The restaurant consists of a covered veranda and a main hall. The interior does not make a lasting impression, but it is quite cozy.

Esto-Sadok

We move across the road from the Gorki Gorod resort - in. There are also a couple of places here where you won’t be poisoned))

Diagonally from the Gorki Mall shopping center you will find a pretty decent establishment

Restaurant "Edelweiss"

The establishment offers Caucasian and European cuisine. Grilled dishes are available. And when you pass by this restaurant, the appetizing smell beckons you to go inside.

The restaurant has both an indoor hall and an outdoor terrace.

Restaurant "Papa Pilaf"

The name itself promises you that it will be soulful, tasty and colorful. And although this season the establishment has slightly increased its prices and apparently lost part of its target audience, in general the quality and authenticity of Uzbek dishes are at a very good level. The pilaf here is really pilaf!

The interior is quite ordinary. The average bill is 700–1500 rubles.

Restaurant Kikel

Sometimes this establishment is classified as a cafe. But based on the prices, I wouldn't say that. They are quite tall. There are many Georgian dishes on the menu

The establishment is conveniently located, not far from the road. Don't expect too much of an elegant interior - it's quite simple. In general, this place is not for show-offs, but for those tourists who like to eat delicious food, without showing off, of high quality and inexpensive.

And it’s not difficult to find this establishment: from the Daiva store, walk along the internal (not the main) road another 100 meters to the left, towards Polyana, along the private sector, and on the right side you will see a wooden restaurant building.

Krasnaya Polyana

There are simply countless restaurants in Polyana itself! Even simply listing them would take a lot of time. Therefore, I will again tell you the most popular and colorful ones, where I myself like to go.

Tavern "Trikoni"

This iconic Krasnaya Polyana restaurant is a must-visit for all lovers of mountain holidays. He stayed in a cozy wooden chalet, next to the Mountain Air bus stop.

This is a place with a long history, and at the same time alive and keeping up with the times. Authentic interior, warmth and comfort of the fireplace, live music in the evenings - I really liked it here from the first time. The food is delicious, the portions are large. Prices are moderate (average bill per person from 600 to 1000 rubles)

They work from early morning (8:00) until 23:00.

Restaurant "Dynasty"

To be honest, I came to this place by accident - while they took my car for an oil change at the car service station opposite, I needed to go somewhere to pass the time. We went to Dynasty because... it turned out to be across the street and the sign indicated quite reasonable prices for coffee...

As it turned out, in this establishment you can not only sit with a cup of coffee, but also have a fairly large snack. Having come from a chilly street (sleet and rain) into a cozy room with a fireplace, we immediately relaxed and were imbued with a warm feeling for this place...

An hour later our car was ready, but we still couldn’t dig ourselves out of the comfortable chairs of the restaurant. Our summary is this: this is an establishment with a magnificent design and delicious cuisine. Awesome coffee! Perhaps one of the best in Polyana at least. Great waiters. For the price, unfortunately, Moscow...

Restaurant La Campagne

Unlike the previous establishment, this restaurant is located in a quiet street, so you won’t get into it by accident, and you only need to get there by taxi or your own car. Those. you need to know exactly why to go there. And it's definitely worth going!

The first time I came to this restaurant was when it belonged to a Frenchman and was called “Le chef”. The restaurant is small and very cozy. The staff is responsive and friendly, the service is fast and unobtrusive (in the good sense of the word). The quality and choice of dishes is at the level of good restaurants in large cities. The influence of French traditions was clearly felt...

Unfortunately, after the change of owner and chef, the restaurant began to become average with other restaurants in Krasnaya Polyana and reduced the volume of the wine list. Despite this, La Campagne remains the ideal place (in my opinion) for a quiet, leisurely dinner in Krasnaya Polyana.

Tavern "Olympia" (or "Belly")

On the equally quiet Achishkhovskaya street, above the Beshenka River, this quite cozy establishment was built. Its name is both correct (across the road there is the Olympia Hotel, and the owner of these establishments seems to be the same)

On the plus side: their territory is large, but at the same time fenced off from the road, with its own small embankment. You will sit and enjoy the murmur of the river and the singing of birds. And magnificent breathtaking mountain views will be a bonus to all of the above.

There is an open terrace and a regular hall. The staff is very efficient, the waitresses are friendly.

Of the minuses: practically none. The only thing is that, again, you can only get there by taxi or private car.

In total, the resort has more than 60 food outlets. Based on the results of the inspection, the ski resort received a high rating from the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers. The Restaurant Landing project took place under the auspices of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers and included secret checks using methods developed by independent and impartial experts from the Center for Skills and Competencies in the Hospitality Industry (St. Petersburg).

To conduct a high-quality examination of 32 establishments in the “mystery guest” format, specialists needed 6 working days. The inspection of the main part of the enterprises was carried out by independent experts who arrived at the resort earlier than the others and worked incognito. The “star” landing party had one day the day before to pay a visit to the leading restaurants of the Gorki Gorod resort as “secret guests” and personally check the level of service and the quality of the dishes served. All project participants are owners and managers of popular and successful restaurants in St. Petersburg, recognized authorities in the professional community.

Igor Bukharov, President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia: “I saw how this resort was built when there was nothing here at all. Do you understand? That is, everything was at the very beginning. Today we visited an altitude of 2200m - the last time I was there was during construction. And today I was already sitting in a magnificent restaurant and looking down, admiring the view... The presentation of the dishes, the service - I really liked everything. Everyone is smiling, everything is fine. There is great dynamics in the development of food services.”

The practice of checking food outlets for Gorka Gorod is not new. “Secret guests” have worked at the resort before, by order of management. But they decided to complicate the task. And they brought the food outlets to the attention of metropolitan experts. In other words, they personally invited the “restaurant troopers” to visit. Lyudmila Kuznetsova, Deputy General Director of the Gorki Gorod resort: “How is this project useful to us and what experience do we gain? Firstly, we really wanted to prove that we are the best. Secondly, we really wanted to understand for ourselves whether we are moving in the right direction by developing the resort’s food outlets. Thirdly, we wanted restaurateurs and chefs from Moscow and St. Petersburg to visit and appreciate our cafes and restaurants.” If in the 2015/2016 season there were a little more than 20 food outlets at the resort, then this season there are already 3 times more! "Starship Troopers" checked half of them. And the risk of the resort management was justified. The capital's gourmets said that the aftertaste was more than pleasant. Leonid Garbar, President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers, St. Petersburg: “I liked everything very much, the service is very customer-oriented, which is nice. Friendly, hospitable staff. Everyone smiles sincerely and you understand that they are waiting for you here.”

Kirill Ziminov, restaurateur: “After our inspections, visiting various cafes and restaurants at Gorki Gorod, I have a wonderful aftertaste. Because I didn’t expect such a level - it seemed to me that it was basically impossible to reach such a high level in such a short time.” A luxurious menu, an exquisite dish, a unique ambiance... Almost all the restaurants, cafes and bars of the resort have received recognition from the capital's experts. And the recommendation is not to lower the bar.
